The is an atmospheric room suitable for gatherings with smaller groups. The warm interior immediately creates a pleasant ambiance: it is truly the “living room” of the hotel. Here, you can hold meetings, enjoy drinks, or dine in peace.
Hunting Room
In this former bellowing room, hunters used to have a well-deserved drink after the hunt. Their trophies and other mementos adorn the walls of this atmospheric space. The dark wood paneling and red leather chairs also breathe hunting history. Here, you can enjoy drinks, dine, or hold meetings as you wish.
Courtyard
The Courtyard is a pleasant, bright space overlooking our garden. It is suitable for a private breakfast, brunch, business dinner, or family celebration. Meetings are also pleasant in this bright room with a garden view. In nice weather, the doors can be opened to the beautiful terrace and garden.
Grand Hall
A wedding with a live band, a buffet, or a business or personal event. The Grand Hall is multifunctional and, with its flexible walls, can be quickly and easily adapted to the size of your group and the purpose of your gathering. The hall is also ideally suited for a farewell in appropriate style.
Café
The café is the heart of the business. The space exudes an authentic Achterhoek atmosphere. We have wonderfully comfortable armchairs, a large, inviting communal table, and a crackling fire. The walls are adorned with historical pictures, antlers, taxidermy, and old hunting rifles. In this ‘living room of Vorden,’ you can catch up undisturbed, read a newspaper, or enjoy your aperitif.
In the café of Hotel Bakker, you will not hear any music. Instead, there is the pleasant hum of conversation, the sound of a bottle being opened, and the voice of the hostess or host welcoming guests.
From early morning until late evening, there is a constant flow of guests in the Gelagkamer. Whether in hiking boots, cycling gear, or a suit: everyone is most welcome for a delicious cup of coffee, a snack, and a drink.
Restaurant
The restaurant of Hotel Bakker is located next to the kitchen. The room is classically and warmly decorated with wood paneling and soft light from copper chandeliers. The tables are classically set with table linens, fresh flowers, copper food warmers, and silver cutlery.
Garden terrace
On beautiful days, we open the doors and prepare the garden terrace for our guests. Here, you can peacefully enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning sun, a delicious lunch, or a cool glass of wine. And if you want, we’ll set the dinner table on the terrace for you.
Tea garden
In our Tea Garden, you can enjoy a cup of ginger tea, a refreshing beer, a chilled glass of wine, a snack, or a delicious lunch with a view of Hotel Bakker. Our plane trees provide natural shade on sun-drenched days.
